Steve “Yosh” Yoshimoto

Coach Yosh has been coaching both indoor and beach Volleyball for over 10 years. His indoor coaching experience includes Head Coach and Assistant Coach positions at various High Schools and other Club Volleyball programs throughout the Ventura County. Coach Yosh currently serves as Buena High School’s Varsity Head Coach.

In addition to his indoor coaching, Yosh coaches and directs VCVC-Beach teaching the fundamentals and strategy of high-level beach volleyball. VCVC Beach has produced several top youth beach players, including players who have earned full scholarship opportunities at top colleges and spots on the USA Beach Volleyball National A1 team. Many of his players are also ranked in the top 10 in various CBVA youth divisions

Coach Yosh is an alumni of Thousand Oaks High School and Pepperdine University and has been playing both indoor and beach volleyball for over 30 years.

“I have a strong passion for mentoring our youth and coaching volleyball at a high-level. I firmly believe in the importance of building player confidence as the key to success not only in volleyball, but in life. I am extremely excited to serve as Director of Coaching and Coach for VCVC”
